PriceWaterhouse published their 2023 survey on Trust and it very much reflects what we’ve been seeing and saying about company culture for the past few years.

Below are some highlights…

Graphic - Let's try it once without the parachute

91% of business executives say building and maintaining trust improves the bottom line.

As I’ve written before, gaining trust is a process that takes intentional and consistent actions and time. Yet losing it can happen quickly with resulting distrust that may linger for a long time.

14 points represent the gap between how much executives feel they are trusted vs how employees feel executives are trusted.

Another metric that may reflect some unconscious bias.

#1 challenge shift in both 2022 and 2023…

…the challenge was identified as current company culture.

54% vs 20% – is a statistic representing a disconnect.

Employees (54%) report experiencing a trust-damaging event. But only 20% of business executives say their organization has been involved in this type of incident.

There is a lot more interesting information so you might want to take a minute to review the entire report because it is worth the read.
